Yesterday's ultrasound showed that the vessel stayed where it was. The doctor said my wife would probably need to be checked into the hospital at about 28 weeks, and stay there until the babies are born. Not gonna be fun...

oh no...poor thing. you'll have to find things for her to read and hopefully she has a laptop and hobbies she can work on. thanks for the research. i sure hope you are right...twins would be great.
Bed rest always sounds so nice to me ... I guess because I'm not the one doing it : ) I'm sure it is terribly boring. I have a neighbor who always has to go on bed rest when she is pregnant and she is bored out of her mind.
i was thinking the same thing michele. i could stay in bed for weeks...just need a few good books. i guess it's different when you are forced to do it. hopefully she'll have a private room too.
While bedrest is boring, it will be for just a limited amount of time. G-d willing, soon afterwards you'll be so busy, the few weeks in hospital will be forgotten about!
