So, my wife had an appointment today. I was supposed to meet her at the appointment, and we were going to a friend's birthday party afterwards. Anyway, I'm on my way from the office to get her, and she calls. The doctor saw her cervix moving a bit on its own, and thought she might be having contractions. Hospital time!
In the end, they hooked her up to a monitor, and watched her for 2 hours. I got there after a long time, due to crazy traffic. Nothing was going on, no contractions. She's fine. We missed the birthday party, which I was pretty upset about. Remember my early post about good friends? It was one of them, and I really wanted to go out and celebrate with them. Oh well. They're good friends, and they understand.

that's disappointing but i'm sure your wife is even more frustrated by all of this. i hope you are being supportive. i'm so annoyed my with husband right now...he could use a shot of sympathy.
attitude readjustment time. Your babies come first. Your wife comes first. Youre BH at the CUSP of viability. I'm sorry you missed the party, but priorities...
I am new at this blog, so I apologize for any slowness. Anyways, you must be so happy! Also, I love the widget thing og the infant.
I know your friends will totally understand. Once when I was pregnant with Zoe, I started having awful cramps. The doctor told me to come in immediately and I had to call friends to cancel our dinner plans. I was all upset about cancelling and they acted like I was a nut for even considering it. The goal is healthy wife, healthy babies ... good friends will always understand that.
